Agreement to Terms
By using the services of Duffy's Outdoor Services ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
Duffy's Outdoor Services offers the following professional tree and land services in Ulster County, NY:
- Tree removal and cutting
- Tree trimming and pruning
- Stump grinding and removal
- Land clearing and site preparation
- Excavation services
- Emergency tree services (available 24/7)
- Certified arborist consultations
- Tree planting and maintenance
- Poison ivy removal
Quotes and Estimates
All quotes and estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may vary if conditions differ from initial assessment. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if additional work, equipment, or hazards are discovered.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- For large projects, a deposit may be required
- Late payments may incur additional charges
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Emergency services may have different cancellation policies.
Property Access and Permissions
You agree to provide safe and clear access to the work area. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or permissions from property owners, homeowner associations, or local authorities. We are not responsible for underground utilities, property lines, or other hidden hazards not disclosed prior to work.
Liability and Insurance
Duffy's Outdoor Services is fully licensed and insured. Our liability coverage protects against property damage and injuries that occur during our work. However, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to property or trees
- Damage caused by hidden defects or underground hazards not disclosed
- Damage to lawns from equipment access when no alternative route exists
- Acts of nature or weather conditions
- Third-party property unless negligence is proven
Emergency Services
Our 24/7 emergency services are available for urgent situations involving fallen trees, storm damage, or hazardous conditions. Emergency service rates may differ from standard pricing due to immediate response requirements and potential after-hours work.
Cleanup and Debris Removal
Standard services include cleanup and debris removal from the work area. Wood chips, logs, or firewood may be left on-site if requested. Additional fees may apply for disposal of large quantities of debris or materials requiring special handling.
Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you experience any issues related to our services, please contact us within 30 days. We will assess the situation and make necessary corrections at no additional charge if the issue is due to our workmanship.
Safety
Safety is our top priority. We use industry-standard safety equipment and practices. During active work, we request that property owners, residents, and pets maintain a safe distance from the work area.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled according to New York State law.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
